How can we help?
Most answers are below. If you don’t find yours, send us a note below or email support@newronrobotics.com. We usually reply within two business days.
My alarm didn’t ring. What should I check?
Open Settings › Amen Clock and make sure Alarms is allowed. In the app, check that the alarm is switched on and the time is right. Keep your iPhone or iPad charged and switched on overnight. Amen Clock uses Apple’s alarm system, so it rings on silent and through Focus, but it cannot ring if the device is off.
The app isn’t hearing my “Amen.” Can I still turn off the alarm?
Yes. Make sure Microphone and Speech Recognition are allowed in Settings › Amen Clock. Wait for the verse to finish, then say “Amen” clearly at a normal volume. If speaking isn’t possible, tap Type instead and type Amen.
What happens if I stop the alarm without saying “Amen”?
Until you have prayed that day, sliding to stop opens Amen Clock to the verse, and the alarm goes quiet there. Snooze is right on that screen. If you don’t open it, or leave without saying Amen, the alarm comes back after your snooze time, up to three times, then rests until your next alarm. Once you have said Amen that day, a later alarm simply stops, or you can pray again.
Can I set more than one alarm?
Yes. Add as many alarms as you need, each with its own time, repeat days, name and sound. An alarm with no days chosen rings once.
Is there a snooze?
Yes. Snooze is on for every new alarm. You can choose how long it lasts, from 1 to 15 minutes, or turn it off for any alarm.
What is the morning devotional?
After your Amen, you can stay for a two-minute devotional: the day’s verse, a short reflection and a prayer. Listen to it read by a recorded voice, or read it silently. There is also an optional evening reflection: a verse and a prayer read to you before you sleep, then you say Amen.
How does my streak work?
Say Amen within 30 minutes of your alarm time and that morning counts. Consecutive mornings build your streak.
Can I switch Bible translations?
Yes. On the home screen, tap Modern English or King James to switch between the Berean Standard Bible and the King James Version. In Spanish, Amen Clock uses the Reina-Valera 1909.
How does the evening screen lock work?
Choose the apps that pull you in, like social media or games. Each evening from the time you set (6 pm unless you change it), they stay locked. Opening one on iPhone or iPad shows a Send me the prayer button; tap it, then tap the notification, and Amen Clock opens the evening’s short reflection (on Android, tap Pray now). Say Amen at the end and the apps open again until the next evening. The lock uses Apple’s Screen Time, and Amen Clock never sees which apps you chose.
How do I change when the lock starts, or turn it off?
In Amen Clock, open Settings › Screen lock. Change the time next to Locks at, choose different apps, or switch the lock off. Changes take effect straight away.
Can I use Amen Clock in Spanish?
Yes. Amen Clock follows your phone’s language. To choose yourself, open Settings › Language in the app and pick English or Español. Everything changes, including the narration.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions › Amen Clock, and choose Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. If you cancel during the free trial, you won’t be charged.
I got a new phone. How do I restore my subscription?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Amen Clock, and tap Restore on the subscription screen.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the Amen Clock purchase.
Is my voice recorded?
No. The microphone is used only while the alarm screen listens for “Amen.” Where your device supports it, recognition happens entirely on the device. We never receive or store your audio. See our Privacy Policy.
